We wanted to mix things up on the blog this week so that you can get to know us a little bit better! This is a full day of what Ann typically eats during the week. We each have our own approach to nutrition but always eat real, whole foods, mostly from local sources, focusing on things that both taste great and make us feel amazing!
Breakfast was a bowl of oatmeal with pomegranate seeds, and some Wild Friends pumpkin spice peanut butter, drizzled with local honey from the farmer’s market.
Lunch was a homemade turkey soup from leftover thanksgiving turkey, with carrots, kale and some rice, along with a clementine and over course Pink Himalayan salt which she puts on EVERYTHING!
Dinner was roasted chicken, with green beans, roasted buttercup squash and this kale slaw left over from thanksgiving. (Not pictured: a glass of Herradura tequila on the rocks).
This day of eating ended with a couple of mini chocolates that a house guest brought from Germany!
