How to take care of Constipation

Constipation, what a horrible feeling.  You know it is healthy to poop on a regular basis, but despite trying everything, it is not happening for you.

First, lets try to understand  what is normal?  According to the scientific literature, it is normal to have a bowel movement (poop) every 1-3 days.

I think normal is different for everyone, the frequency of pooping is one part, but even more is how you feel.  Do you feel bloated, heavy, lethargic, pain?  None of those symptoms are normal, no matter how often you have a bowel movement.

I am a Doctor of Chinese medicine, my goal is to help your body find a bowel movement rhythm that is optimal for you, that leaves you feeling good everyday.

From the Chinese medicine perspective there are many potential diagnosis that can explain constipation.  My job is to make the correct diagnosis for you and then to apply the proper treatment to guide your body to feel good everyday.
